“It’s nothing revolutionary; it’s just really well put together." -- From iPhone to ChatGPT

I am beyond excited to introduce my first newsletter and share my thoughts and insights with you on the amazing worlds of technology, investment, entrepreneurship, and career development.

Today, I would like to delve into one of the most groundbreaking products in the field of artificial intelligence: ChatGPT.

Just today, there have been a few tweets floating around regarding ChatGPT and its revolutionary nature.

As I attached above, Professor Yann LeCun, the ACM Turing Award laureate, stated that he believes ChatGPT is not that revolutionary, but some others disagreed. I respect Professor LeCun tremendously for his research and contribution to “Deep Learning," but I believe he missed the bigger picture when it comes to “products.”

ChatGPT is revolutionizing the way we interact with artificial intelligence by making it accessible and user-friendly for people everywhere. It is breaking down the barriers that once limited AI to experts and transforming it into a tool that anyone can easily use. The ability of ChatGPT to deliver seamless and frictionless AI services to a vast audience is what sets it apart.

“It’s nothing revolutionary, it’s just really well put together.”

In my opinion, perhaps ChatGPT is nothing revolutionary from a research point of view (however, experts may fairly disagree on this too), but the fact that it was “really well put together” is enough for me to call the product revolutionary.
